This was an interesting story told in letters - ones by Mata Hari and her lawyer that failed to get clemency for her. We thank the publishing house for the book! The only difference between now and then is that the secrets get out sooner, and the primary actors care even less about the morality of what they're doing. I tell anyone who enjoys fiction that this is the nonfiction book for them.

Might have preferred to have just one bad guy rather than several, spread over the course of a long book. She just is his mother, in the same way that Mrs. Sign In Sign Up. Titlewave categorizes the title as Adult and Dewey as 813, which I would disagree with.
However, it was near a swamp, vice mountains, where the rebels could have fled to fight another day if invasion faced problems.

The original edition of this book published by Aleph Book Company of New Delhi in 2015 is listed as a separate title on Goodreads - there are copious reviews there of the original publication. For me, this was not an entertaining read.
It is a spy story as the title suggests but our hero is a very unlikely British spy. The manner in which he tells the story provides an in-depth look into how and what kinds of memories he forms. Mata has a child in this novel in fact, she has two and not only is the death of her son glazed over, but Mata barely mentions her daughter at all.
